3. Randy Orton Calls Out The Wyatt Family
Unless WWE have a quick fire plan for someone shocking who could fill the role, it looks like Randy Orton will be the partner for Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose at Night Of Champions (the story of him being on vacation
have been squashed). On Raw, Orton was seen talking backstage to both men before his match against Sheamus. After that bout concluded, his celebrations were cut short by an attacking Wyatt Family. There needs to be some sort of reaction from Randy to The Wyatt Family this coming week. On Smackdown, the Wyatts opened the show with a promo, but didn't really mention Orton at all. Instead, they focused their attentions squarely on Ambrose and Reigns. Those are obviously the main rivals, but if Randy Orton is going to be shoe-horned into the match, there needs to be a reason. Otherwise, it's just going to tell fans that Orton is the third wheel. That's not good enough, the story requires context. Something as simple as Wyatt saying he saw Randy conversing with his foes, and felt compelled to eliminate him from the equation would be solid. For Orton's part, he needs to strike back and make himself an important part of the Pay-Per-View bout.
