As mentioned during the intro to this piece, WWE have done a poor job of explaining exactly why Shane McMahon is still the top authority figure on Monday Night Raw. Shane lost at WrestleMania to The Undertaker, so shouldn't that have prevented him from gaining any power? Apparently not, he's making matches at will.

Expect that to continue for now this coming week. If that's going to be the case, McMahon could put together a fan-friendly main event for the show. Dean Ambrose and Chris Jericho have issues, so do Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens. They have been brought together in recent weeks, and there's room to do so again.

Following on from the tag-team match on SmackDown, Shane could make a Fatal 4-Way bout for Raw. Adding further interest, the winner would be guaranteed a WWE World Heavyweight Title shot at some point after Payback. Right there, WWE would be using a cracking main event to set up another for Raw or SmackDown after the pay-per-view.
