10 Booking Steps For WWE Raw (Aug 1)

1. Brock Lesnar Threatens To Shut Down Monday Night Raw

It's unclear whether or not Paul Heyman will be present on Monday Night Raw this week. In promotion for the planned appearance of Brock Lesnar, only the wrestler himself has been shown in graphics or mentioned by the announcers. If Heyman isn't there, that changes the presentation of the skit drastically.

There's an obvious reason why Heyman does most of the talking for Brock, promo skills aren't Lesnar's biggest strength. He's not bad at them by any means, just not as savvy as his 'Advocate'. Should Paul not be around, it's a good idea to have Lesnar focus on physical threat more than verbal empowerment.

Brock doesn't even need a microphone, he can simply rampage onto the set of Raw and begin demanding that he gets Randy Orton. Visually seething, the commentary team then scream that nobody feels safe in the arena with Brock in this mood, and remind viewers of Orton's scathing comments towards the idea of Lesnar failing a drug test.

As the program goes off the air, there's bedlam. In the melee, Brock could even lay out Mick Foley, something WWE can use to mimic real life by discussing a suspension next week.
