5. Sami Zayn Pleads With Mick Foley To Give Him A Match With Braun Strowman
Stressed out and unsure over how to handle a rampaging Braun Strowman, Mick Foley is approached by Sami Zayn and reminded of an in-ring conversation they had several weeks ago. Pointing out that he knows Mick is only looking out for his well-being, Sami says that somebody has to stand up to Braun.
From there, Zayn tells Mick that he wants to be the one to confront the giant. In-keeping with his words a few weeks back, Sami stresses that Foley wouldn't be scared of any challenge himself. Instead, he'd be motivated, and Zayn feels like he has something to prove on Monday Night Raw.
Still not convinced, the General Manager states his belief that he'd be sending a fine young man into a situation he can't possibly emerge from unscathed. After Sami continues asking, Mick gives in and says that Zayn can have a crack at Strowman on the Roadblock card.
This has been a fine story up until now, and it makes sense to get at least one pay-per-view match out of it. Zayn vs. Strowman would be a great addition to the undercard at Roadblock.
