10 Booking Steps For WWE Raw (Feb 22)

7. Kevin Owens Mocks Dean Ambrose Over Fastlane

Working within the limitations of the 'PG' rating WWE hold nowadays, Kevin Owens and Dean Ambrose produced magic at the Royal Rumble. The 'Last Man Standing' contest between the duo was epic, opening the show in perfect fashion. They managed to dodge the lack of blood to make the match feel intense and like a worthwhile addition to the card. At Fastlane, Dean Ambrose is involved in the Triple Threat Match to determine a new top contender for Triple H's WWE World Heavyweight Title come WrestleMania. It shouldn't be forgotten that he dropped the WWE Intercontinental Title to Kevin Owens in a multi-man affair on last week's edition of Raw. That's something the bragging Owens would want to rub in his face. The pair have been rivals for months, there's no good reason why it can't continue. Unless WWE have different plans for Ambrose (for example, a bigger match come 'Mania), Owens would be a fine opponent once more. Ideally, they'd contest some kind of stipulation bout. A Steel Cage Match at WrestleMania would be awesome. For now, KO should have fun on Raw mocking Ambrose for failing to live out his dreams again.
