WWE are pinning a lot of their hopes for ratings success on the fact that Brock Lesnar will return on Monday's broadcast. The 'Beast Incarnate' would logically be coming back to regain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Due to the fact that belt will be on the line in the Royal Rumble match, Lesnar would want a piece of the action. There doesn't seem to be any other reason for bringing back Brock at this point, other than to insert him into the 30-man bout. Paul Heyman could even offer that Lesnar will take the #1 spot in the match, such is his confidence that he'd win. This could lead to The Authority hinting that they have other plans for that berth, which would naturally be for Roman Reigns. These days, Lesnar is pretty much an outright babyface. Fans love his ass-kicking persona and take-no-prisoners attitude. It'd feel exciting to imagine him in the Rumble again, a match he hasn't been involved in for a good few years. Ideally, Brock would be the kind of guy to win the Rumble, but it seems WWE may go in an altogether different direction with the match. That doesn't mean he can't be involved.
