10 Booking Steps For WWE Raw (Jan 30)

Time to sow the seeds for a bumper WrestleMania rematch...

Coming out of the Royal Rumble, the Raw brand has one more pay-per-view stop before WrestleMania 33. On March 5, Fastlane provides another speed bump on the red team's 'Road To WrestleMania'. That show would be a hell of a lot bigger if it had the lure of Bill Goldberg wrestling.

This is something WWE can work towards on the next episode of Raw. There's a slight risk of over-exposing the former WCW star. He should definitely be used as more special attraction than full-time performer in 2017. There are no guarantees Goldberg will stick around post-WrestleMania, though, so WWE should make the most of him whilst they have the chance.

In other news, some conjecture must be applied when predicting what Raw has in store. Another pay-per-view clash between Kevin Owens and Roman Reigns would be a tough sell for Fastlane, although there's no imminent need to abolish that feud completely just yet.

Title rematches, new contenders being established and more, let's see what WWE could have planned for the post-Rumble edition of Raw...

10. Kevin Owens Tries To Get Seth Rollins Suspended

At Royal Rumble, it'd make perfect sense for Seth Rollins to try and force the hand of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon by interfering in the WWE Universal Title match. On the latest episode of Raw, Rollins was removed from the 30-man match after losing to Sami Zayn via Authority-esque shenanigans.

On the same show, Mick Foley made Owens vs. Reigns a No Disqualification bout for the Rumble. That's where the intrigue creeps in.

Seth could show his face on the pay-per-view and try to make KO lose the Universal belt. Specifically, Rollins would be looking to anger 'The Game' by removing his hand-picked champion.

Come Raw, Owens would be furious. Still managing to hold onto his title despite Seth's interference, the champ calls for Rollins' suspension. In agreement, Stephanie is stopped from sending Seth home by a conflicted Foley.

Unable to sit back and watch any longer, the General Manager says he wouldn't be doing his job properly by letting one of Raw's top names sit at home. As the segment ends, Mick creates opportunity for another star.
