10 Booking Steps For WWE Raw (March 13)
1. Goldberg Takes Out His Frustrations On Paul Heyman
No other wrestler in recent memory can claim to have worked two pay-per-view matches (one of which was against the mighty Brock Lesnar) and bagged a World Title without taking one bump.
Then again, not many wrestlers are Bill Goldberg, and that lack of bumping only made Brock's F5 feel more impactful on last week's Raw; sooner or later, Goldberg had to bump for Lesnar, because their WrestleMania rematch must have a more even feel than Survivor Series offered.
Humbled by Brock's manhandling of him last week, the new WWE Universal Champion should come out all guns blazing when he arrives on Raw.
Interrupting a bragging Paul Heyman (who would be keen to stress that Lesnar made light work of Goldberg, working his promo around the idea that Bill isn't hungry now that he has the title), the champ then intimidates and eventually beats the manager until Brock tries to make the save.
Aided by dozens of security team members and other officials, the resultant pull apart brawl would be simple, effective, and show that Goldberg had been rattled by Lesnar's ambush.
