10 Booking Steps For WWE Raw (March 21)

Sami Zayn is someone WWE can always rely on for a good match, and he has an infectious nature to him that the fans seem to be loving right now. It looks like he's headed for a crack at Kevin Owens and the WWE Intercontinental Title. Whether that's in a singles situation or a multi-man scenario is really not clear at the moment.

What is clear is that he and Jericho would work extremely well with one another. Owens could even be on commentary, or come out to scout Zayn as he faces the veteran Jericho. They'd have a solid match, at the very least, one which would provide Raw with that multi-segment bout the producers apparently crave weekly.

Ideally, Zayn would pick up the victory, putting some egg on the face of Jericho. In a perfect world, it would definitely not be a clean finish, it doesn't need to be in order to succeed. Instead, AJ Styles would interject, leaping off the ropes and smashing Jericho whilst the referee was preoccupied with an arguing Owens and Zayn. This would allow the babyface to pick up the win.

There's even the added advantage that a tag match could later take place on Smackdown, pitting Styles and Zayn opposite Jericho and Owens.
