WWE are really making steps to rebuild Rusev's career after a truly terrible 12 months. The 'Bulgarian Brute' once again has Lana permanently by his side, and he's also the top contender for the WWE United States Title. On SmackDown, he quickly dispatched Zack Ryder, and he needs more cannon fodder for Raw.

R-Truth would be the perfect choice, he's fairly expendable at the moment. As an added bonus, losing to Rusev wouldn't do any damage to Truth's ongoing storyline with Goldust, Tyler Breeze and Fandango. That's a wacky situation anyway, Truth wouldn't be hurt by the defeat.

Ideally, such a match would only last a few minutes. Rusev should dominate, even calling out to Lana to watch as he decimated his opponent for her. As part of the League Of Nations, Rusev showed some real personality, so there's no good reason why that shouldn't continue despite the group breaking up.

Rusev should not be beaten until he wins the United States Title, WWE can't afford any more blips with him.
