10. Tyler Breeze Costs Dolph Ziggler His Quarter Final Match
Facing Dean Ambrose in his First Round encounter on Raw, Tyler Breeze came up on the losing end. On the same broadcast, Dolph Ziggler emerged victorious over The Miz. When Breeze had his match with Ambrose, Michael Cole assessed that it'd be interesting to see 'Prince Pretty' face the 'Show Off' in the Quarter Finals. It's likely a good thing that didn't happen. WWE don't need to rush into Tyler Breeze vs. Dolph Ziggler, and the match certainly shouldn't be a throwaway tournament affair. Thankfully, that won't be the case, as Breeze has been eliminated from the running. Ziggler will now face Dean Ambrose, and that match should take place on Monday Night Raw. In an ideal world, Breeze should be involved in the finish. By costing Dolph his chance at the WWE World Heavyweight Title, Tyler would come across like quite the heel. During a quick promo afterwards, he could state that there was no way he was going to allow Dolph Ziggler to do what he couldn't. Why would any heel sit back and watch his rival triumph? Breeze is all about vanity, he shouldn't enjoy being trumped.
