6. The New Day Try To Weasel Out Of Facing The Usos
The New Day came out on top after their match against Neville and The Usos on Raw. This should be treated like a setback for the Samoan twins in their quest to wrestle the WWE Tag-Team Titles from Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston and Big E. What makes them deserving of a title shot? They have been defeated by the champions, and are just back in the picture. At least, that's the way The New Day should be looking at things. They could even state that after talking to The Authority, they were able to ascertain that The Usos must work their way up the ladder of contention if they're going to challenge for the belts. This could be the ideal time for The Usos to get some wins under their belt, and make more sense of a prospective title match. The Ascension are the whipping boys of the tag-team division, so they could be one win. Then, on Smackdown, the brothers could even defeat The Dudley Boyz to become #1 contenders. It's unclear whether or not WWE are going to book the inevitable tag challenge at Survivor Series, or host a multi-team elimination match, but there needs to be more story.
