Brian Kendrick's WWE character should always be an unpredictable one. At times it can feel like the veteran is having an internal battle with himself, unsure whether or not to embrace younger performers like T,J Perkins or violently hit out against them. That unpredictability will surely continue on Raw.

Defeated at Clash Of Champions, Kendrick demanded another shot at the WWE Cruiserweight Title. The match was set for this coming week. Perkins promised to defend the purple belt and it makes sense to imagine that he will leave Raw still as champion.

Giving the match time will be crucial to its success on the show. After all, the Cruiserweight Title bout has been built up as one of two big championship matches on Raw. Ideally, it'd be Perkins who would leave with his hand raised, beating Kendrick 100% clean in the middle of the ring.

Afterwards, the veteran is gracious in defeat. This contrasts with his actions at Clash Of Champions, at once leaving Perkins confused and wondering if he has Kendrick worked out as a man yet.

Open-ended, Kendrick can then either continue to endorse youth or snarl back at Hell In A Cell.
