8. T.J Perkins Watches Another Cruiserweight Showcase

It'd be quite the surprise if Brian Kendrick walked away from Clash Of Champions as the new WWE Cruiserweight Champion. After all, 'new' is a word which could be used to describe everything about T.J Perkins and his ascent to the main WWE roster. Perkins surely can't appear on Raw belt-less without once showing face as champ.

There's merit to the idea of continually determining new challengers for the Cruiserweight Title and introducing new characters that way. Some didn't favour the Fatal-4-Way on last week's show, but it will take time for WWE to find their groove with the Cruiserweight division again.

One way to go about things would be to add context to the character of Perkins. The writing team could have T.J join the announce booth and watch the likes of Jack Gallagher, Noam Dar and others make their Monday Night Raw debuts.

Any one of those young men would be the ideal choice to challenge next, although Cedric Alexander (who lost out last week) is also another option. This time, WWE have over a month to build towards Hell In A Cell.
