10 Booking Steps To AJ Styles Vs. Shinsuke Nakamura Vs. Finn Bálor At WrestleMania 34
8. Big Moves In The Superstar Shake-Up
It has long been rumoured that there will be a second Superstar Shake-Up in 2017, as WWE desperately tries to shuffle its pack in an attempt to improve its product. This will likely happen ahead of Survivor Series, allowing WWE to book a number of cross-brand matches at the show with championships on the line, much like in 2016.
Jinder Mahal will move to RAW as Finn Bálor moves the other way, in what will arguably be the biggest switch of the shake-up. This will add extra drama to Mahal’s championship re-match at Survivor Series, and the threat of the WWE Championship moving to RAW will loom large over the blue brand going into the Houston event.
Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson will also move to SmackDown as part of the shake-up, as there is very little left for them to do on the flagship show. Whilst this may mean more matches with The Usos and New Day, the good news is that the Good Brothers won’t be involved in the SmackDown tag team division too much to begin with.
