WWE.comBray might have lost the battle, but the war isn't nearly over. He cuts promos talking about how he didn't lose, Jericho escaped. Jericho ran away like he always does, every single year. "You deserve a better hero. You deserve a better martyr. You deserve someone that is going to stick around when the buzzards are done circling." Jericho comes out and fights back. "I was the first undisputed WWE World Heavyweight Champion. I made my debut against The Rock. You can't tell me that these people don't deserve me." This sets up a cap to the feud in the only appropriate way possible; a loser leaves the brand match and Night of Champions. The loser leaves the brand match is pretty much the perfect way to cap off this feud. It has a strong weight to it, considering the implications, and will show in resounding fashion who the more committed wrestler is.
