10 Bowling Shoe Ugly Wrestling Matches

2. Trish Stratus & Bradshaw vs. Jackie Gayda & Chris Nowinski (Raw, 2002)

The look of disgust on the face of Trish Stratus following this match truly said it all. For Trish, proving herself as an in-ring performer was important, because she wanted to do more than just act as eye candy on television. She was badly hampered by one of her opponents on an episode of Monday Night Raw in July, 2002. Teaming with Bradshaw against Jackie Gayda and Chris Nowinski, Trish was helpless to stop the match from being a dud. Gayda didn't appear to know what she was doing between the ropes, which only embarrassed Stratus more than anything. Trying desperately to work some resemblance of a wrestling match with the newcomer, Trish wasn't experienced enough to accommodate for Gayda's lack of knowledge. Together, they botched absolutely everything. Gayda looked awkward and like she didn't belong inside the ring, it's fascinating to think she was sent out on Raw without any real preparation. The worst moment came when Trish tried a leaping Bulldog from the ropes, something Gayda sold as a simple strike to the back of the head.
