10 Brilliant WWE Success Stories That Should Have SUCKED

4. Sami Zayn Invades The Bloodline

Sami Zayn is an industry treasure.

Only he could've blended comedy and drama as an 'Honorary Uce' during Roman Reigns' peerless run as the 'Tribal Chief'. Only Sami could've invaded the ranks of The Bloodline and convinced fans that he deserved to stand alongside a Samoan family dynasty without any eyebrows being raised.

This entire story has been Zayn's WWE magnum opus, and it isn't done just yet. In retrospect, Sami making Roman, The Usos, Solo Sikoa and Paul Heyman corpse during backstage segments shouldn't have worked the way it did - that's a testament to how bloody great he and the rest of the gang are as characters.

It's a guess, but Vinnie Mac probably wouldn't have let this grow arms and legs the way Triple H and his creative team has. The Vin-man might've discarded Zayn long before now, and that would've robbed audiences of some seriously thrilling moments.

This should've been a short-term side-story for Roman, but it's become something more.
