10 Brutal Jobber Beatdowns You Need To See

At least they (probably) got paid.

Any wrestling fan who has watched the typical jobber match just knows that €œthe other guy€ is going to be in for it. The circumstances are almost always the same for those countless squash matches. Guy already in the ring. Usually had a mullet. Ring attire resembled a bathing suit. Nowhere NEAR as muscular, tall or intimidating as his opponent. Cut to a short match of jobber taking every signature move of the other wrestler usually at full force and with added zip. The jobber would provide almost no offense and if they did it would only serve to further infuriate their opponent. Match ends with jobber taking an extremely stiff finisher while superstar barely bothers to cover them. There was a reason these guys are called €œenhancement talent.€ Their only job was to enhance the destructiveness and reputation of the superstar who was their opponent. At least today the jobbers have become more muscular, component wrestlers and even some current superstars who have fallen on hard times get to be pseudo-jobbers or €œjobbers to the stars.€ Yet, wrestling has always maintained a rigid hierarchy and every big time wrestler was, at time or another, a nameless jobber just trying to get their foot in the door. Yet, opening up the vault to days gone by truly gives a view of some of the worst, or best based on your perspective, jobber beatdowns of all time. Be warned€you may some advil after watching these videos. The first video spotlights a jobber who took a brutal beating but would later become a top start in the industry€
