9. The British Bulldogs Beats Down Mick Foley & Les Thornton
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ez5YQUWPP7Y The Match: Truth be told, this match wouldnt likely make the list on its own merits. Yet, when you watch this match after reading Foleys detailed description of its events from his autobiography, Have A Nice Day, then the video takes on a whole new perspective for the hapless jobber. Foley noted in his book that he probably pissed out Dynamite Kid by executing a little of his "offensive" early in the match against his partner (which Davey Boy completely no-sold anyhow at the 1:30 minute mark). Foley would then feel the full wrath of Dynamite as he takes some super-stiff punishment for the rest of the match. Most Brutal Moment: It has to be the guillotine-like clothesline that Dynamite Kid delivers to Foley at the 1:49 mark of the video. As you can see from the video, it looks like Dynamite is truly trying to take Foleys head off with this move as Foley wrote that he was totally unprepared for such a vicious manuever. Final Thought: Dynamite Kid was a legendary bully in the industry and this match serves as a prime example of some of the liberties he took with his opponents. Foley peeled back the curtain in his autography to graphically detail how painful squash matches could be for jobbers. Luckily, karma seemed to win out in the end as Foley would later become of the greatest feel good stories in wrestling history and a future world champion.
