10 Brutal Times Wrestlers Worked Stiff
9. Sheamus Vs. Drew McIntyre - Fastlane 2021
There's no questioning the fact that both Drew McIntyre and Sheamus were two of the MVPs of WWE's ThunderDome era. And this was largely down to the fact that, despite not having a live crowd to play to, the pair refused to dial down their intensity once the bell sounded.
It was only a matter of time before the two pals-turned-enemies would collide during this surreal period, and when they did, the end results were about as barbaric as you'd expect.
Beating seven lumps of crap out of each other for seemingly 3-months straight in the lead-up to WrestleMania 37, the Irishman and Scotsman regularly tore up their adversary's back with Kendo sticks, tables breaks, and particularly snug kicks, knees, and forearms.
In the end, though, their war was ultimately signed off with their most physical showdown to date at Fastlane 2021 as the warriors battered each other under No Holds Barred rules. Sickening chops, even more Kendo whoopings, suplexes onto the concrete, and an unforgiving White Noise off the barricade through the announce desk only told half the story. The state of the duos' bodies afterwards did the rest.
