10 Burning Questions For WWE Raw (Dec 7)

Will Rob Van Dam return?

When WWE World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus announced the formation of a new faction on Raw last week, it understandably was met with a mixed reaction. The new League of Nations stable is a collection of mid-to-upper-card wrestlers who were previously treading water, so it raises the question of whether this group €“ even though it includes the world champ, U.S. champ and King of the Ring €“ will be treated as a powerful group or is just a stable of goofs for Roman Reigns to demolish. Still, the fact that WWE did something like this rather than have the Authority rally around Sheamus and coddle him is a step in a different (and quite possibly, right) direction. Sheamus utilizing previous partnerships with other wrestlers makes perfect sense, and we€™ve seen champions surround themselves with superstars before to help protect his title. This doesn€™t suddenly mean that Sheamus is the answer or that Reigns is now the universally accepted underdog of fans, but it€™s far more intriguing than Triple H and Stephanie McMahon serving as the champ€™s protectors. WWE also seems to have clued in that the New Day is one of the most entertaining acts on Raw these days, so the company has decided to maximize their screen time. Whether that leads to higher ratings or burnout/overexposure remains to be seen. And Divas Champion Charlotte, after Paige turned on her a month ago, is now teasing a heel turn of her own against Becky Lynch. Pretty soon, it€™s going to just be Lynch versus a cadre of villainous women if WWE isn€™t careful. There are plenty of questions that need to be cleared up when Raw takes place on Monday. Let€™s take a look at some of those questions€
