Ever since jack Swagger returned from exile to confront United States Champion Alberto Del Rio, it was fairly obvious that the two were headed for a collision over Del Rios title. Del Rio has been flagging ever since returning nearly two months ago and winning the United States Championship cleanly from John Cena. Del Rio has won the bulk of his matches since returning, but he hasnt defended his U.S. title once since winning it six weeks ago. Swagger might be a logical challenger because of his past relationship with Zeb Colter, but his appearing out of thin air to be Del Rios first real feud feels more like a placeholder until Cena returns later this month. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RlbIbkSBSrY Still, it looks like the two are moving toward a title match at TLC, and it quite possibly will be a chairs match which is the dumbest stipulation of all four specialty matches for the PPV. Chairs are legal, but other weapons are not? Unlike ladders and tables, chairs arent a necessary factor in the conclusion of a match. But well find out if this match becomes official.
