10 Burning Questions For WWE Raw (March 28)

3. Can Shane/Undertaker Be Compelling?

By now, it€™s safe to conclude that the match between Shane McMahon and Undertaker €“ despite all the stipulations and conditions attached €“ is underwhelming, to say the least. The initial return of the Prodigal Son was well received and a legitimately awesome moment, but it€™s been all downhill since then.

Shane-O-Mac versus the Deadman is not a compelling match. It would be one thing if Shane introduced us to an avatar or some backup who helped call the outcome of the match into question. But we€™re looking at a 46-year-old executive (who admittedly was a daredevil when he competed 10-15 years ago) fighting one of WWE€™s biggest stars ever in his signature match. The novelty has long since worn off, and we€™re now left with a hard-to-swallow match.

It€™s a longshot, but maybe, just maybe, WWE can figure out some way on Monday to inject some intrigue or interest into this match. And no, another stipulation with someone€™s career or livelihood on the line isn€™t the answer. The truth is, there might not be anything that WWE can do to make chicken salad out of this chickensh**, but that doesn€™t mean the company won€™t try.
