10 Burning Questions For WWE Raw (Sept 19)

7. How Will Tag Feud End?

At SummerSlam, Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson were seconds away from winning their first WWE Tag Team Championships, only to get distracted by Jon Stewart. (There’s a sentence you never thought you’d read.)

Last week on Raw, we got a rematch from that PPV, with Gallows & Anderson pinning Xavier Woods. On the one hand, having the challengers win a nontitle match two weeks before the PPV seems strange, but it’s worth noting that they pinned the guy who usually is on the outside playing trombone during title defenses. At Clash of Champions, it’ll likely be Big E teaming with Kofi Kingston, which will change the dynamics significantly.

But going into Monday, how will these two tag teams – which thankfully mocked the “comedy” skits they participated in previously – set things up? Will the challengers jump New Day? Will the tag champs show that fiery side they’ve displayed before and get the upper hand heading into Sunday? New Day is closing in on 400 days as tag champs, which is a huge accomplishment, but could their reign be ending? Or will they top Demolition’s 478-day reign?
