10 Candidates For WWE Hall Of Fame 2016 Warrior Award

2. Diamond Dallas Page

DDP is a name many fans have mentioned when discussing potential recipients of the Warrior Award. The tricky thing about DDP's eligibility is that he almost certainly qualifies for entry into the WWE Hall Of Fame as a performer and not solely as a recipient of the Warrior Award. That is what makes DDP so special - he's made an incredible impact in more than one are of the world of professional wrestling, and for that, he should be recognized. Twice, if need be. Page no doubt embodies the spirit of the Warrior as he is notorious for having a positive outlook on life as he works daily at being the most uplifting person he can be. The assistance he famously provided Jake Roberts and Scott Hall in the hopes to get them to live a healthier lifestyle (and potentially save their lives) has been well-documented. The Resurrection Of Jake The Snake documentary was recently released on iTunes, and chronicles much of the support and effort DDP invested into helping his friends save their lives. Watching it, you see how much it means to Dallas. Undoubtedly, Page is deserving of a Hall Of Fame nod on more than just the level of performer. A quick side note is how Warrior made some good-natured, lighthearted jokes about DDP Yoga and the idea that he thought DDP Yoga was sponsoring the 2014 Hall Of Fame. He expressed his pleasure about the program and, with Warrior being a fitness fanatic himself, would likely consider Diamond Dallas Page a great selection for a future Warrior Award induction.
