Vince struts around backstage with his usual arms-out bluster. He's in a good mood, or at least he was, until he fixes his eyes on the millennial geeks that make up his roster nowadays. They're all so entitled. They're all so tiny. They're all-

Vince is suddenly shaken from this sudden bout of rage, the sort that often compels him to cruelly abandon a plan his writing staff has spent a pointless weekend crafting. He hears a voice. He hears an hilarious voice. It belongs to Eric Young.

"Hey kid," Vince says. "Where'd you get that voice?"

The 39 year-old Eric Young isn't sure how to respond. He feels an etiquettal impulse to introduce himself, but we're coming up to a year, and he isn't quite sure if Vince knows who he is or not. He has appeared on television about three times, so there's a good chance Vince doesn't, but he isn't certain. He also doesn't know how to respond to an unanswerable question. As his mind wanders in turmoil - so this is what insanity feels like - Vince presses on, and tells him of an idea.

Vince is so charmed by this voice, a voice that is somehow both gruff and goofy, that he immediately hands Young his own chat show segment ('Talking Sense'), which acts as pretext for a two-month programme with The Miz.

Miz wins, and Young sporadically appears on Main Event soon after.
