10 Candidates To Be The Man To Beat Brock Lesnar

All good beasts must come to an end...

Brock Lesnar is on one hell of a run in WWE at the moment.

The Beast Incarnate's No Holds Barred Street Fight victory over Dean Ambrose at WrestleMania 32 means it's now 10 matches undefeated since The Undertaker made him tap out under dubious circumstances at SummerSlam 2015.

In fact, Brock has only lost two matches where he was the one to concede the pinfall in the last three years, with the other coming at 'Mania 29 against Triple H. The rest came in Triple Threat matches and the like where he wasn't directly involved in the finish.

Given the way Brock has been booked in recent times, it's obvious that he isn't due another direct loss for some time. He will always be the one behind the one in 23-1, and that will always have to come into any booking process for a match he's involved in.

However, given the nature of the 'beast' that is professional wrestling, there will be a time when Brock's time in the ring is over and he's needed to put over a new beast down the road.

When this time does eventually come, it will undoubtedly be a decision that will be made on his terms. It will make their career in three short seconds, so Brock isn't going to put over somebody he doesn't think's worth it.

Here are 10 contenders to end Brock Lesnar's reign of terror over WWE...

10. Finn Balor

Maybe we're jumping ahead a bit too far here, but there will be a time when Finn Balor is challenging in the main event scene on WWE's main roster.

Surely, right? His time in NXT has proven that he could be a franchise player down the line.

Nevertheless, a Brock vs. Balor match in any slot on the card is a mouthwatering prospect. It's a match that would legitimise Finn as a big player in the main roster ranks - and could be used to put over Balor Club to devastating effect.

WWE could create a monster if the booking is done correctly.

It could well be four years with only two defeats for The Beast by the time these two meet in a WWE main roster ring, with a cunning win for Finn thanks to an interference from Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson propelling The Demon into the proverbial stratosphere.
