The multitalented Miranda is best known for the smash hit musical Hamilton and the recent film In The Heights, but a great deal of his spare time seems to be spent catching wrestling shows. During a hectic 2017 Miranda could be spotted at SummerSlam, where he stated that his fandom went all the way back to ‘Mania III.

At SummerSlam, he shouted out Sasha Banks and could later be found posing for photos with Kalisto, who in turn cited Miranda as an inspiration. A few years later, the multi-hyphenate could be seen at NXT TakeOver: Cardiff, where he was blown away by the athletic exuberance of Cesaro, who he shouted out on social media.

The lifelong fan even got the chance to work with The Rock on Moana - he wrote “You’re Welcome”, a braggadocious song right in Dwayne J’s wheelhouse, for which Miranda took inspiration from the Great One’s Hollywood Rock gimmick in which he’d frequently sing songs running down that week’s town. That’s about as good a mash up of pro wrestling and musical theatre as it gets - talk about a dream come true.
