Johnny Gargano could currently have as much emotional support as any competitor since Daniel Bryan. A beloved indie wrestler, he has worked wonders in gaining the respect and adoration from the NXT faithful. While his old partner Ciampa always had a bit of 'Psycho Killer' in him, no one has ever doubted the integrity of Gargano. He is a true babyface, through and through.

Now that #DIY has met its bitter demise, Gargano will hopefully find his way to the NXT Championship. However, expect Ciampa to be hot on his heels. The storytelling at the core of this feud is better than anything Bobby Roode and a fellow dance partner could conjure up in the next few months. Gargano vs Ciampa is the feud of NXT. Plus, you can bet Triple H doesn't want to keep relegating his prize title to sub-main event.

That means Gargano and Ciampa will need to feud for the NXT Championship. That could happen one-on-one, or Roode could be added to the mix. Either way, the people want to see Gargano succeed, and with all his tag team success, the next step is surely the NXT Championship.
