10 Changes That’d Happen If AEW's Tony Khan Bought WWE

3. WWE Tentpoles Would Become AEW Ones

If wrestling fans were being honest with themselves, they'd rank tentpole WWE classics like Royal Rumble, WrestleMania and SummerSlam above anything AEW has produced on pay-per-view to date. That's not meant as a knock on the All Elite side - they've only been in business since 2019, so there's no cross-generational lineage for shows like Double Or Nothing or Full Gear.

Events like that could make way for the traditional WWE favourites.

Think about it: Tony Khan would've grown up as a excited fan tuning in for the riotous Royal Rumble-WrestleMania quarter, and he knows full well how cherished those are by wrestling fans worldwide. They're even marketable to lapsed fans who barely watch the product anymore!

"AEW WrestleMania" doesn't sound right though, so Tony would probs keep the WWE branding in check. Or, he'd delete the logos completely and cross-promote 'Mania as a Super Bowl of wrestling that encapsulates every brand he owns.

Incredible thought.
