10 Changes That Would Enhance WWE's TV
3. No More Pet Projects
If the Roman Reigns experiment proved anything, it's that Vince McMahon's stubbornness will get the best of him. His insistence to push Reigns to the top genuinely put a multi-year damper on WWE's entire product, which in hindsight is just straight up baffling from a business perspective.
WWE will save themselves a lot of time, money, and headache by just allowing the crowds to naturally choose who they want to cheer for instead of trying to manufacture the perfect poster-boy. For the better part of four years, WWE threw away countless opportunities to boost business in favour of throwing Roman at the screen. Imagine if Daniel Bryan could've been the 2015 Royal Rumble winner, or if Braun Strowman actually captured the Universal Championship back in 2017 when he was setting the entire wrestling world on fire.
This is by no means meant to be a Roman Reigns bash, it's just the perfect example of what will eventually happen when Vince's pet projects get the best of him. It's not even just "we don't want to cheer for him so WWE is bad", it's "you guys are missing out on probably millions of dollars by not investing in the right people".
