10 Classic Wrestling Rivalries With ONE THING MISSING

1. Randy Orton Vs Triple H - At Least One Good Match

This might seem sacrilegious to some, so it's worth acknowledging that before going any further - maybe this is an unfair addition to the list. Was Randy Orton Vs Triple H even a classic wrestling rivalry?

To be slightly more earnest about things, the two had enough battles over the year to be considered legacy rivals, and Orton's launch via Evolution at very least tied them both together at a formative stage in the 'Legend Killer's career. But look at the big battles between them and see if you can find a really good one.

The disaster that was their WrestleMania 25 main event has been pummelled to death by critics for a decade and a half, injuries blighted some of their B-show bores, their 2004 series actively put Orton in reverse in terms of career progression, and the less said about their last dance in Saudi Arabia, the less people talk about 'The Game's in-ring career going out with a whimper rather than a bang.

It'll never happen now, but their form together was at least consistent with the bulk of their output.
