1. It's Causing Them To Lose More Money Than They Earn From It
WWE.comThe biggest irony is that the WWE Network is causing the company to lose more than earning it. WWE Network is a long-term investment and it might become profitable in a few years. As of right now however, its causing WWE to lose money and is prompting them to do a lot of budgets cuts. Vince McMahon decreed he wants WWE to shave off $20 million in productions costs this year. We've already seen that happen with the 11 people that were released in one day. There is also been talks that the production crew don't have their own bus to travel in anymore. WWE is now forcing them to travel their own way to shows around the country. Not to mention there have been other things WWE has cut down on. Fandango no longer has a cool entrance and Bad New Barrett's podium has been nixed. Even Raw's pre and post show segments are now being done in WWE headquarters. Booker T, Alex Riley and Byron Saxton are just sitting in a boring room instead of actually attending Raw shows with the cool looking announce table that they used to have. This is just the beginning of the budget cuts and all of it is due to the WWE Network.
