10 Clues WWE Network Has Been A Major Error

9. Confusion Over Wrestlers' Pay

WWE.comWWE.comIn the past, WWE would give out PPV bonuses to some wrestlers if it did a good buyrate. WrestleMania each year is usually a good pay day for most wrestlers since it normally gets over 1 million buyrates. One of the biggest concerns for wrestlers was WWE Network's interference with PPV bonus pay. WWE was stupid enough not to address the pay and talk to its wrestlers before the WWE Network launched. This was one of the reasons why CM Punk left the company earlier this year. WWE failed to explain how wrestlers would get paid with PPV buyrates dropping. Will they be able to get a cut of the money earned from WWE Network instead? Considering WWE Network only costs $9.99 per month while monthly PPV events cost $50 or so, wrestlers aren't getting paid as much as they have in the past. WrestleMania XXX's buyrate was only 690,000 buys. Far lower than the 1 million buyrates it usually aims for. This number is only going to get smaller when WWE Network subscribers increase. Will wrestlers' pay get smaller too?
