10 Consequences Daniel Bryan's Neck Injury Could Cause WWE

1. Bryan Is Forced To Retire

Daniel Bryan isn't a fresh young star. He has been in this industry since the late 90's and has consistently worked a gruelling schedule which has taken him all over the world. His body is only human and he's just five years away from being two decades worn in the punishing style he has worked for so long. When you consider that, it isn't all that surprising to hear Bryan is a physical wreck. If this neck injury proves worse than expected, then retirement could very well be something he has to consider. It could even be forced upon him given the stringent nature of WWE doctors these days, just take a look at Edge in 2011, he was flatly told he couldn't continue. It would be a true tragedy to see Bryan's career cut short like this just as he realised his main event dreams. That's just life sometimes. WWE and Bryan will no doubt think of the money on the table and the legacy they can create, so retirement really will be a last resort, but if impending surgery doesn't go well it might be something which must be considered. Bryan has already been struggling with a history of concussions and other strains in recent years... this neck injury could be the final sign for him to slow it down before it costs him any more of his health and career.
