The most obvious contender for Bill Goldberg at WrestleMania 31 would be Brock Lesnar. This would be a much needed rematch of their largely underwhelming WrestleMania 20 match that is probably best remembered for the audible heckling of the audience than the wrestling of the match itself. Who could forget the chants of, "You Sold Out!" as the WWE fans responded to the leaked revelation that both Goldberg and Lesnar were wrestling their final match at WrestleMania 20 before departing for pastures new. Therefore a Goldberg/Lesnar rematch could potentially prove to be a successful way of righting the wrong of its rather controversial predecessor. In addition the match itself would largely depend on The Undertaker's retirement status, as it would be highly unlikely that Lesnar would be available to face Goldberg if The Undertaker was still an active wrestler come WrestleMania 31. If this proves to be true then the WWE Universe would surely expect, and many would demand, that The Undertaker exact his revenge on Lesnar on the same stage in which Lesnar did the unthinkable and defeat the 'Dead Man's' WrestleMania winning streak. However if The Undertaker is set to retire before 2015, then Lesnar would be free to work an angle where on the road to WrestleMania 31 he poses the question that after defeating The Undertaker, "Who is next?" at which point Goldberg returns, spears Lesnar and roars, "You're Next!"
