10 Contenders To Become WWE 205 Live's General Manager

4. William Regal

It might be a little unimaginative, but few would have any vociferous complaints if NXT's on-screen operator were to expand his remit to include the Tuesday night tumblers. Regal does a fine job as the developmental brand's mouthpiece, and there's a feeling that 205 Live could be vastly improved if it shared greater synergy with the Full Sail lot - particularly if it operated a talent exchange for qualifying Brits such as Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate.

Heavyweight technician Regal isn't exactly synonymous with high-flying, but a certain former assistant to the one time WWF Commissioner is. Would the pair reunite to liven up the purple proceedings? Doubtful; Tajiri left WWE last year to return to AJPW in his homeland.

Probability: 6/10

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
