10 Coolest Day Jobs Of WWE Stars Before They Made It

1. Wade Barrett Was A Bare-Knuckle Boxer

Wade Barrett is one of the most popular heels in WWE. While he is supposed to be hated and reviled by the fans, the fact is that he has reached the point that if the company decided to turn him babyface, he would instantly be over. While he has finally come into his own in WWE, the fact is that this life is perhaps not as cool as the one he led before. Barrett was a champion bare knuckle-boxer and one of the best in England. He fought throughout his home country and Europe, winning money along the way and cementing himself as one of the toughest men in the business. Barrett knew what it was to fight, to earn his manhood one brawl at a time and he was very good at what he did. While WWE Superstars are viewed as action stars, Barrett actually lived that life to its fullest. He was tough as leather and proved it every time he was the last man standing. He was so tough that after being jumped by a would-be robber and stabbed, he was actually able to fight off his attacker. Barrett was left with an ugly 12-inch scar while his assailant was beat into submission. It was not the most glamorous job but the fact is that Barrett has the respect of every man who has ever dreamed of being Jason Statham or Sylvester Stallone. Barrett is WWE's real-life action star and his it's his toughness that makes him one of the coolest on the roster.
