Compared to the colorful and cartoonish WrestleMania posters of the '80s and early '90s, WWE sent a clear message with the promotional campaign for Wrestlemania 14 - this was all about a new Attitude. Indeed, the colorful caricatures of family icons like Hulk Hogan and Ultimate Warrior has been replaced by what looks like three mugshots of a menacing Steve Austin, and intense Mike Tyson, and a sneering Shawn Michaels. The stark black and white photographs are offset by a bold, blood red Wrestlemania logo which have been branded "DX Raided". At first glance, it almost looks like the branding says "X-Rated", which I'm sure wasn't accidental. A slightly different alternate poster kept the same design, but this time included images of The Undertaker and Kane, who were arguably appearing in the second biggest match of the night.
