6. Sean O'Malley At UFC 222 - 'I F*cking Love You, Joe Rogan'
UFC fans have become accustomed to the sight of both fighters being stood in the middle of the Octagon after a bout has concluded, with the winner having their hand raised by the ref and the loser being left to either applaud or angrily storm off.
That wasn't the case at UFC 222, however, as 'Sugar' Sean O'Malley was left lying on his back as his name was called out as the victor. O'Malley had seriously injured his foot during the bout and was being checked on by his team as Joe Rogan walked over to interview the exhausted winner.
With Rogan crouched down next to 'Sugar', one of the funniest interviews in recent memory began to unfold. O'Malley admitted that his foot was hurting, but he then confessed it was 'nothing a little medicine can't fix after the fight, at my after party.'
As the interview drew to a close, O'Malley began to list off the things he loved about the sport of MMA and finished the list by saying 'I f*cking love you, Joe Rogan'. Rogan replied by saying 'I f*cking love you too, buddy' and one of the oddest post-fight exchanges you'll ever see ended with Rogan singing the young star's praises as the victorious fighter lay on his back cheering/wincing.
