9. He Saved The WWE Championship From The Japanese
Hulk Hogan has already shown that he knows little to nothing about the Montreal Screwjob (he was once quoted as saying that, "Shawn Michaels held him down and pinned him because was being a horse's ass"), but if he's to be believed, he stopped a different kind of screwjob from taking place years earlier. This one happened during a tour of Japan. Talking on the WWE produced "Hulk Still Rules" DVD, Hogan claims that he was forced to shoot on a Japanese opponent called Tatsumi Fujinami in a match for the WWE Championship. Hogan went on to say that he had no other choice than to take the match into his own hands, because if not, Fujinami would have ended up stealing the belt. There's zero evidence to corroborate this tall tale, and it's hard to say what the Japanese wrestler would have gained from stealing the prop title during a non-televised match.
