8. Goldberg And His Undefeated Streak
Undefeated streaks, either by heels or babyface, should be attached to some sort of stigma which gives luster and allure, i.e. The Undertaker's WrestleMania streak.
Enter, Bill Goldberg.
A former Pro in the NFL for the Atlanta Falcons, Goldberg appearance, other than his sheer size, wasn't anything in particular that stood out, but what he lacked in flashy attire, he more than made up for with his in-ring explosiveness, leading to a 173-match undefeated run. For a man in plain back gear, the sheer spectacle that was his ring entrance (being escorted by horde of guards) created the allure of this unpredictable, unstoppable beast. This remains one of few famous streaks in pro-wrestling, many of whom's matches were much more than just squashes against worthy adversaries.
