10 Creative Ways WWE Can Survive Without John Cena & Randy Orton
2. Bring Back Vince McMahon
If all else fails, there's actually one great idea that WWE should consider before completely throwing in the towel on maintaining interest and ratings in the absence of Randy Orton and John Cena: bringing back Vince McMahon. Vince coming out on TV and burying his product in a manner similar to the time that he brought back the nWo would be the set-up. He'd bury Steph, Hunter and Seth, and say that he was going to do a "hostile corporate takeover" of his company and bring back "enormous multimedia and brand name superstars" who would "define his company for the 21st century." Vince's new "Corporation" then being comprised of a returning Batista, Team Bella, Tyler Breeze and Eva Marie would be fun, but all of this leading up to Vince landing John Cena as a heel to be the centerpiece of his group would be something. Old (and portrayed as slightly senile) man Vince who "made The Rock, Stone Cold, Stacy Keibler and more mainstream stars and created the Attitude Era," believing that he could do the same with that aforementioned motley crew would actually give TV a fresh coat of paint and perhaps make the broadcasts worth watching, even if for the promo segments more than the matches.
