10 Creative Ways WWE Can Survive Without John Cena & Randy Orton
6. Re-sign John Morrison
I mean, if Alberto's not getting the kind of deal he wants in order to feel financially and creatively satisfied in Lucha Underground, then it's entirely possible that John Morrison -- the man he wrestled for much of that promotion's first season -- likely isn't happy either. It's entirely possible that a solid 10% of WWE's core audience watched any Lucha Underground. However, Del Rio and Morrison had GREAT chemistry, so the idea of the two of them wrestling each other in WWE is certainly worthwhile. Del Rio decides to continue the open challenge gimmick and gets immediately confronted by an also returning to WWE John Morrison? That'd be ideal and if they were given some time to have a showcase feud, maybe it'd be the kind of thing where people could see Morrison AND Del Rio for the definite main event talents that both have evolved into. This is an idea that if it didn't leap from this page onto TV, I'd be completely surprised.
