2. Night Of Champions 2014 - (56,000 Buys)

Night Of Champions hasn't really been a big performer on Pay-Per-View since the idea was launched as a standalone event in 2007. The last fairly decent number the show pulled was in 2009, garnering 267,000 buys, and that's a number which had steadily decreased since. It's stunning to think that not even the mighty Brock Lesnar was able to reverse this trend in 2014, and Night Of Champions is seemingly one branded show which few members of the wrestling fraternity trip over one another to see. Pulling in only 35,000 domestic buys in North America, the 2014 version of the show didn't do great money. Perhaps the big question is how WWE go about reversing this trend of diminishing returns from their Pay-Per-View specials? As discussed before, new titles such as Battleground don't seem to make a big difference, and the older, more established events like Survivor Series are in the same boat, spluttering past with little notice.
