5. Triple H vs Taka Michinoku - WWF Title (Raw 2000)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3I-iUL2IBn4 The biggest compliment that can be paid to this match, and Taka especially, is that you forget that the 5 ft 8, 180 lb Light-heavyweight is a 5 ft 8, 180 lb Light-heavyweight. Triple H was afforded the luxury of picking his own opponent to defend the WWE Championship against as his rivalry with The Rock intensified. In what looked to be a bit of a cop-out, HHH picked Michinoku who was a lower card tag-team competitor at the time, despite being pound-for-pound the best worker in the company. Taka employed The APA to make sure no-one interfered in this match which started off at a frenetic pace and didn't let up till the final bell. Of course, the champion retained his belt but was ran close by the Japanese star.
