Speaking of ladders, who took part in the first WWE ladder match? Michaels and Razor Ramon? No, it was Michaels and Bret Hart way back in 1992. Inexplicably, the match was filmed and released exclusively on home video even though it was worthy of headlining a WrestleMania. The idea of the ladder match was Hart's according to The Hitman himself. As the story goes, Hart went to Vince McMahon with the concept as he had competed in a number of them in Stampede Wrestling earlier his career. Vince was not familiar with this type of match so Bret and Shawn went out to show the boss what a fantastic spectacle a ladder match could be.
