WWE United States Champion Rusev (along with Lana) was the 16th pick of the draft, and the Bulgarian Brute now finds himself on Monday Night RAW. Whichever show he ended up on was going to be getting a major star of the current and the future, so it was somewhat surprising to see Rusev drafted after Chris Jericho, Sami Zayn and Becky Lynch.

Looking at the SmackDown roster, there aren't a huge amount of interesting matches left for Rusev, who has pretty much fought everyone at this point. Rusev vs. AJ Styles would be extremely fun, as would an eventual bout against Bray Wyatt.

I'm going with a match against his fellow secondary champion, Intercontinental Champion The Miz. The reasons are fairly clear, and although both men are heels there is enough in each character to make this work.

The most obvious point of interest would be the interactions between both men's blonde valets, Lana and Maryse. Whilst Rusev and Lana don't have a great track record of stories revolving around romance, having two power couples go up against each other would be a ton of fun to watch.
