10 Cross-Brand WWE Matches We Must See

2. Roman Reigns Vs. John Cena

Just like a big time match between John Cena and Batista was inevitable from the moment the two rose to the top of the company, an eventual marquee match between Cena and his heir apparent Roman Reigns is quite possibility the dictionary definition of inevitable. It just has to be.

Because whether we like it or not, John Cena vs. Roman Reigns is going to main event a big four PPV at some point in the future. Reigns' stock may have fallen somewhat due to his recent suspension, but WWE has a history of differing standards when it comes to the discretions of their chosen stars.

Reigns won't immediately be on top of the world when he returns, but there's every chance he is going to be positioned as RAW's top heel when the turn eventually happens. It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest to see this match take place at WrestleMania 33.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
